The mission of the IU Kokomo Writing Center is to enhance student academic success and, thereby, student retention. The staff of the Writing Center works to provide an assessment of an academic support for student writing skills in all disciplines through the creation of a caring and friendly environment conducive to learning. The Writing Center and its staff work in conjunction with the library staff to enhance students' understanding of writing and conducting research in an academic environment.
